The Sensidyne Factory Service Department offers you a variety of service options that increase product functionality and minimize costly interruptions and maintenance costs. These options include initial training via phone, e-mail, online video technical assistance, plus full in-factory repairs. Sensidyne has developed several programs which will allow you to select the option that is best suited to your applications and needs.
Our product expertise is wide-ranging across all air sampling GILIAN pumps, GilAir pumps, BDX pumps, AirCon area samplers, and air sampling calibrators Gilibrator 2, Gilibrator 3, and Go-Cal.
We also repair and calibrate the SVANTEK line of noise dosimeters, sound level meters, sound monitor stations, vibration meters and dosimeters, and all sound and vibration calibrators.
Factory Certified Calibration
As a Laboratory accredited to ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standards, the Sensidyne Service Department provides ISO/IEC 17025:2017 compliant calibration and repair of the following Sensidyne products:
- Gilibrator Calibrators
- Svantek Products
Our Svantek service team has been trained and certified at the Svantek HQ Laboratory in Europe. In fact, we are the only certified Svantek calibration and repair center in North America.
Subject to the same standards, the Sensidyne Service Department provides NIST-Traceable calibration and repair of the following Sensidyne products:
- Go-Cal Calibrator
- Nephelometer Dust Monitor
Why Factory Calibrate?
An annual ISO/IEC 17025 or NIST-traceable calibration by Sensidyne’s ISO accredited facility provides a defensible audit trail. Calibration of your Sensidyne instrument includes a full product refurbishment and calibration. Our industry recognized calibration experts (with over 100 years combined Sensidyne experience), accreditations, and traceability ensure accuracy and peace of mind. Proprietary procedures, software, and test fixtures refurbish your instruments to both commercially available and unpublished specifications.
What is Included in Factory Calibration?
- Disassembly and examination of the instrument for wear and damage
- Full cleaning, repair and/or replacement of parts as needed
- Battery test/replacement as needed
- Upgraded firmware and hardware (See a list of Svantek firmware updates here)
- Multi-point flow calibration (customer specific points can be added)
- NIST traceable calibration certificate with As-Found (optional) and As-Left data (OR)
- ISO/IEC 17025 accredited calibration with As-Found (optional) and As-Left data

Calibration ISO/IEC 17025 Services
ISO/IEC 17025 Certificate with Uncertainties includes all of the NIST services (see above), plus, provides detailed measurement uncertainties and ratio data that enable an analysis of measurement risk with Detailed Uncertainties Provided:
- Test Uncertainty Ratio (TUR) Calculation Provided
- Enables Evaluation of Risk in Instrument Applications
All Factory repairs must have a Return Materials Authorization number (RMA).
The repair prices include fault isolation, replacement of faulty components and test to factory specifications. Factory Repair will carry a warranty of 180 days in accordance with the current terms and conditions.
Please include all documentation with the equipment when returned to the Factory.
Include a Purchase Order for the specified Flat Rate amount plus shipping. The PO must include Contact Name and Phone Number, Shipping Address, Billing Address, Shipping Method and the correct total dollar amount, plus shipping charges.
MasterCard, American Express, & Visa are acceptable for payment.
All equipment returned must be intact and include all parts. We will not attempt to repair equipment which has been returned in pieces or is missing significant parts. Include a description of the failure or malfunction with the returned equipment in order to ensure that the problem will be fully addressed.
