Smoke Tubes & Respifit Test Kits - provides a unique way to perform fast, safe, and reliable qualitative respirator fit testing using our Sensidyne proven No. 5100 smoke tubes.  Two Respirator Fit Test Kits are available: Manual and Automatic.  The manual kit consists of one (1) box of 5100 Smoke Tubes (10 per box), an aspirator bulb, tube caps, and a carrying pouch.  Our automatic kit consists of one (1) box of 5100 Smoke Tubes (10 per box), a RespiFit smoke tube pump, 30" of tubing, and tube caps.  The RespiFit pump is designed to deliver a 200ml/min flow rate (per OSHA 29CFR 1910.134) creating a consistent stream of test smoke, allowing the tester to perform an accurate and reliable fit test each and every time.

Compressed Breathing Air Analysis Kit - utilizes a regulator/flow meter assembly and five special detector tubes to monitor for the five substances listed in the Compressed Gas Association's (CGA) Grade D standard for breathing air.  These are carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, water vapor, oil mist and oxygen.  Tubes sold separately.

The CBA Kit offers a fast and simple means of monitoring for substances in compressed breathing air and the new version of the kit offers several advantages over the old kit.  First, with the switch to Kitagawa detector tubes, we have added a test for oxygen which was not available with the old kit.  Second, the kit has been redesigned with a new tube holder and a valve between the flow meter and the tube.  The valve will allow more accurate sample times and eliminate flow adjustments during the sample.  Third, the flow meter now comes with a factory calibration chart that will improve the accuracy of the flow meter reading.

Hazmat Kit - The new kit (P/N 7013627) utilizes a unique two-step approach for even more rapid identification of airborne gas vapors.  The short test uses the two multi-state qualitative tubes (131 and 186B) and a special color chart to determine no less than 70 compounds in as little as two or three minutes.  The long test follows this with further qualification using 15 length-of-stain tubes qualitatively with a decision-tree type logic chart, the Logic Chart III.  The entire procedure can be run from the Logic Chart III without the color chart if preferred or in cases of operators who have trouble distinguishing colors.  No other kit takes this exact approach or offers the speed and efficiency of the short test.

The kit features the high-quality precision-made Sensidyne / Kitagawa detector tubes and the rugged alloy AP-20S piston pump that carries a lifetime warranty.  It is housed in a corrosion resistant high-impact polyethylene case with a custom foam insert for maximum travel protection.  It includes the 18 boxes of detector tubes required for the Logic Chart III, an air flow indicator kit and a five-meter extension hose for remote sampling.  The kit is expandable with room in the case for about 40 boxes of tubes, and more than 200 additional tubes to choose from for assembling customized kits.  An upgrade kit is available (P/N 7013629) to turn your old Sensidyne Deluxe Hazmat kits into the new two-state version.
