Engineered for easy real-time monitoring of dust concentrations.
Ultra light and wearable at 5.25oz (149g), it’s the lightest monitor on the market – but built with rugged over-molding for commercial and industrial settings such as construction sites and workshops. The Gilian Dustlight’s laser photometry measures the fraction of inhalable dust PM10, respirable dust PM4, as well as PM2.5 and PM1, providing an assessment of particulate matter concentration.
Compliments gravimetric sampling for OSHA compliance: provides immediate feedback on air quality using a simple traffic light system, audible warnings, and digital display, allowing remediation before standard gravimetric sampling and lab analysis – saving time and lab costs!

The Gilian Dustlight uses a traffic light system to indicate air quality:

No, the Gilian Dustlight is not a replacement for PPE like masks or dust extractors. It is a tool to monitor air quality and support risk assessments, ensuring appropriate use of PPE when necessary.
The Gilian Dustlight features a rechargeable battery that lasts up to 9 hours in continuous mode and up to 40 hours in eco mode. It can be fully charged in about 3 hours using the included magnetic USB cable.
The Gilian Dustlight is intended for indicative measurements and can help determine if additional gravimetric testing is necessary, potentially saving time and costs. However, it should not be solely relied upon for compliance with occupational exposure limits. It is not a replacement for gravimetric sampling.
The Gilian Dustlight has preloaded thresholds for Respirable Dust, based on the end users Regional/Country specific standards. These limits can be adjusted via the Gilian Dustlight app to fit specific workplace requirements.
The Gilian Dustlight is robust, shock-resistant, and designed for harsh working conditions, making it ideal for use in various industrial and trade environments where dust exposure is a concern. However, the Gilian Dustlight is not certified for hazardous areas where Intrinsically Safe equipment is required.
